Santiago is urging anyone with information about Klose's activities to call Detective Anthony Lacher of the prosecutor's office at 80. If convicted, Klose faces up to 10 years in prison, Megan’s Law sex offender registration and parole supervision for life on the worst of the charges.

Klose was arrested earlier this week and released pending a future court date. The prosecutor's office declined to say whether an undercover investigator was posing as the girl. The Special Victims and High Tech bureaus of the prosecutor's office found that Klose was trying to set up a sexual encounter with an individual he believed to be a 14-year-old girl online, Santiago said.
